Identify Real Pearls
The real pearl has a very natural and full color. Its luster comes from the inside and looks crystal clear. A careful observation reveals its layered gloss, and sometimes there are ring lines. Natural pearls generally have minor defects more or less.
- With the nakedeye, pearls have natural colorful light. In a necklace, their sizesand shapes also vary.
- Touch to see if it is greasy or dry,warm or cold? Realpearl feels dry and cold.
- Bite it. A real pearl is rough on its surface and can be hold with teeth while a glass ball is not.

How to distinguish pearls:
- Vision: The shape of the real pearl is irregular, showing translucent jade white, yellow white, light blue, flesh red and other natural and unique colorful fluorescent luster; Most fake pearlsareglass imitations which are regular in shape and uniform in size. Generally, a fake pearl is coated with silver powder or "glazing liquid" made of fish scales. The color is monotonous and lacks luster.
